Mancherial: Telangana BC Jagruthi leaders submitted a representation to the Administrative Officer at the Collectorate in Mancherial on Tuesday.

The union leaders demanded the government to increase the reservation to backward classes based on the population as there are about 56 percent of BC population in the State. They expressed dissatisfaction over the decrease of reservation in municipal elections from 34 percent to 25 percent.

Union leaders G Srinivas, Ravi, Chandar, Raju and others were present.
