Medak: Republic Day arrangements reviewed

Medak: District Collector Dharma Reddy held a preparatory meeting for Republic Day celebrations at his office here on Monday. He directed officials concerned to make all the arrangements for celebrations to be held in the district headquarters.

"People including students from all parts of the district would take part in the celebrations. Snacks and drinking water should be kept available. The best among the cultural programmes should be selected for performance.

Horticulture department should take care of stage decoration. Officials of all the departments should work in coordination to make the celebrations a grand success," he added. Joint Collector Nagesh, Additional SP Naga Raju, DRO Venkateshwarlu and others were present.
