Karimnagar: All viral fevers are not dengue. All necessary medical services are provided at government hospitals to prevent viral fevers, said Health Minister Eatala Rajendar. He inaugurated a 'Mega Health Camp' organised by City Municipal Corporation for the family members of municipal employees and sanitary workers at Kala Bharathi in Karimnagar on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Health Minister informed that all measures and precautions were taken to prevent the spreading of viral fevers. Compared to previous season, less number dengue fever cases have been registered this season. People suffering with viral and other seasonal fevers must not get panic that they were affected by dengue and should not waste their money by visiting private hospitals, he advised. They must visit nearby government hospitals or Primary Health Centres, which will provide treatment for any kind of fever.

Informing that out-patient services in government hospitals are increased and opened in evening hours also, he urged the public to utilise the services.

Municipal Commissioner G Venugopal Reddy, District Medical and Health Officer Dr R Rammohan Rao, health officials and medical staff were present along with others.
