The highest maximum temperature for the first time in this season touched 46 degrees Celsius in Khammam, Adilabad, Nalgonda and Ramagundam.

In a warning to Telangana, the Met department bulletin said thunderstorms with gusty winds ranging between 30 and 40 kmph and lightning are very likely to occur on May 28 and 29 at isolated places across the State. Heat-wave conditions likely at isolated pockets.

According to the bulletin, the heat-wave conditions will continue on May 30 and 31. Hence, the public have been advised not to expose directly to sunlight and take necessary precautions.

The forecast said light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely at isolated places across from May 28 to 31. No large change during the period June 1-3 is the weather outlook.
