The metro rail works on the JBS-MGBS stretch will end by November-end. The officials of Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) is planning to complete all the technical works by November.

The civil works between the two metro stations have been completed and the works related to telecommunication, overhead wiring, electrical and signalling are going at a brisk pace in all the 10 stations, said HMR managing director NVS Reddy adding that works on viaduct were completed while the works on roofs at stations are being done.

The 10-km long stretch will consist 10 stations -- JBS, Parade Grounds, Secunderabad, Gandhi Hospital, Musheerbad, RTC crossroads, Chikkadpally, Narayanaguda, Sultan Bazar and MGBS.

The metro stretch which is a part of corridor-II will benefit the long distance commuters as it connects JBS, Secunderabad stations and MGBS.
