Hyderabad: Airport authority officials on Wednesday inspected different places under the Addakula mandal in Mahbubnagar district as part of the government's plant to have an airport in other districts.

Minister for Excise V Srinivas Goud along with Devarakadra MLA A Venkateshwar Reddy and the officials of Airport Authority visited and inspected the areas near national highway at Addakula mandal in Mahbubnagar district.

Talking to reporters, Srinvias Goud said that to attract the worldwide investors into the State, there should be minimum infrastructure available in the State and as part of that they have come to Addakula for identifying suitable land for the proposed airport.

The Minister visited Gudibanda and nearby places and said that this was not the final place. The Airport authority personnel would be visiting other places also. He asked the people not to fall prey to the activities of real estate agencies as they would increase the prices of lands.

Goud said that the industrialists would be showing interest to invest if the airport comes near the national highway. MLA Venkateshwar Reddy said that he was happy with the Chief Minister deciding to have airport in his constituency. With new airport in the area would be many employment opportunities for the youth of the constituency, said Reddy thanking the chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao and also the minister.
