TRS working president and minister KT Rama Rao on Monday urged the farmers to participate in the Bharat Bandh tomorrow. The minister addressed the gathering after inaugurating Mini Tankbund in Raghunadhapalem and cemetery in Ballepalli in Khammam district.

He also laid foundation for the road widening works between Pandurangapuram and Koyachelaka, central divider and central lighting works.

While speaking, he asked the farmers to take part in the bandh protesting against the centre's new farm laws. "TRS government has developed Khammam district in all ways that have not been done by any government in the last 67 years," KTR said.

The minister said that villages and towns are being developed in the state with the schemes -- Palle Pragati and Pattana Pragati, proposed by the government. "Politics will be taken into consideration during the election and when they are no elections, all the people have to focus on the development works," he said.
