MLA break down in tears in Telangana assembly while speaking about dialysis patients

Aler MLA Gongadi Sunitha broke down in today's assembly session while speaking about dialysis patients. She said that her father also succumbed to kidney ailment. "My father had gone through dialysis for over 14 years which drove our family into financial constraints," she wailed.

Sunitha explained about the problems being faced by the patients and urged the government to include them in the aasara pension scheme. "If a person from the family has to undergo dialysis, the entire family should to struggle for the treatment," she said.

She also requested the government to set up more dialysis centres as the people suffering the kidney ailments are high in number. She further asked to extend aasara pension to the dialysis patients.
