Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said worshipping village deities had been a custom in the state. Former vice-chairman of municipality Ch Ramesh, leaders Vijaykumar, Anant Reddy, Muthyam Reddy, Rangaraju, Anil, Ramreddy and others were present.
