MLA reviews development works in Achampet municipality
Guvvala Balaraju, Achampet MLA and Government Whip, reviewed the development works in Achampet municipality on Thursday.
Nagarkurnool: Guvvala Balaraju, Achampet MLA and Government Whip, reviewed the development works in Achampet municipality on Thursday.
The MLA, who took part in a meeting with the local ward councillors and municipal authorities, stressed on the need to speed up various development works like laying of CC roads, construction of drains, laying of BT roads, laying of drinking water pipelines and electrification works in various wards and colonies.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA directed the ward councillors to ensure they actively take part in all the development works and make sure that all the works are completed on time.
"Municipal elections are nearing. It is time that every ward counsellor takes the work seriously and speed up the development works and ensure by the time the elections are held more than 90 percent works are completed," observed the MLA, while giving instructions to the ward councillor.
The MLA also directed the municipal authorities and the ward officials to implement the State government's urban action plan and ensure that there is complete face change of every ward in the next few days.
