Mother-son duo killed in road accident in Munagala
A man and his 63-year-old mother were killed in road accident that took place on the outskirts of Akupamula village of Munagala mandal on Tuesday.
Munagala (Suryapet): A man and his 63-year-old mother were killed in road accident that took place on the outskirts of Akupamula village of Munagala mandal on Tuesday. According to sources, the car in which Tummala Narender (43) and his family was travelling turned turtle after hitting the railing of a culvert. While Narender and his mother Laxmi died on the spot, the condition of Narender's wife, Mamata, is stated to be critical. Meanwhile, Narender's two sons, Vishnu and Aditya, escaped with minor injuries.
Both Narender and Mamata are natives of Nelakondapally mandal of Khammam district and employees of Divis Company located in Choutuppal in Yadadri-Bhongir district. They were residing at Hayathnagar of Ranga Reddy district. The accident took place when they were going to attend the funeral of their kin Yellamandaiah at Revuru village of Mellacheruvu mandal in Suryapet district.Based on the complaint of kin of the deceased, Munagala CI Shivashankar Goud registered a case and took up the investigation.
