Hyderabad: A car driver escaped with no injuries after his car suddenly caught fire on Friday under Hayathanagar police station limits.
The driver was heading towards Vijayawada from Hyderabad. According to the police, the car owner identified as Vijay Rahul, a software engineer took the Outer Ring Road and reached RTC Colony in Hayathnagar around 10 am when he noticed fumes coming from the car engine.
He immediately pulled over and got out of the car and within minutes flames engulfed the vehicle. Fire tenders doused the fire and police cleared the traffic.
