A municipal councillor has been arrested in Sangareddy for making provocative comments on Janata Curfew announced by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The councillor of Ward number 34 asked the people to come on to the roads and enjoy ignoring the curfew.

He further said not to believe the words of Prime Minister Narendra Modi until he removes the CAA act. The police registered a case and house arrested the councillor.

Sangareddy SP Chandrasekhar said that Mohammad Shafi, councillor of ward number 34 in Sangareddy made objectionable comments on the Janata curfew. The SP said that stern action will be taken those who raise comments against the public representatives.

Prime Minister announced Janata Curfew as a precautionary measure to control the spread of coronavirus.
