Nalgonda: Minister for Energy G Jagadish Reddy stated that Market Committees and Agricultural Markets will become idle with the Central government's new farm laws.

Along with MLA Kancharla Bhupal Reddy, he participated in foundation laying ceremony for additional classrooms at NG College, road expansion works from Marriguda bypass road to the Collectorate and oathtaking function of the newly elected Market Committee of Nalgonda, on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Jagadish Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has addressed the issues of farmers and made agriculture profitable in the State. The credit of allocating more than half of the funds to agriculture in the State budget goes to CM KCR, he added.

All those, who migrated from Telangana, are now returning to their native places and doing agriculture but the Modi government conspired to favor the corporates and to loot poor farmers, he stated.

The Minister said that Modi was enforcing laws that opens door to corporate sectors and bury farmers. There will not be minimum support price, farmers will not any right to ask, no right to ask in the court and no control over storage with new farm laws, he observed.

Modi should answer to all the questions asked by farmers and Opposition parties leaders in the interest of the country, he demanded.

The Minister said prices of essential commodities will go up with new farm laws and the poor will not get even a single time food and added that everyone should take note of this danger. He urged farmers and all sections of people to support CM KCR to get more strength and encouragement to him.
