Nalgonda: Superintendent of Police AV Ranganath directed the police officials to sweat more than usual in order to nab the offenders and improve the property recovery in burglary cases registered in the district.

On Thursday, along with District Training Centre Additional SP Sathish Chodagiri, the SP held a review meeting on the status of burglary cases in the district at the district police office meeting hall in Nalgonda.

Addressing the officials, the SP emphasised on collection of CCTV camera footages to crack the cases. He reminded that CCTV camera footages have helped the police solve many burglary cases and nab the offenders. He advised the officials to encourage the installation of CCTV cameras in every police station limits under community policing.

Stating that it was the duty of the police department to protect the public properties, he instructed the cops to intensify night patrolling and also suggested them to utilise the available new technologies to crack the burglaries.

Informing that he would conduct the review meeting every month, the SP warned of taking serious action against officials who neglect their duties and also the cases.

Deputy Superintendents of Police Venkateshwar Reddy, Anand Reddy, Venkateshwar Rao and Ramana Reddy, Circle Inspectors Adi Reddy, Suresh Babu, Ramesh Babu, Shankar Reddy, Ravinder, PND Prasad, Bala Gopal, Srinivas Reddy, Nageshwar Rao and others attended the review meeting.
