As many as 11 men and 11 women teams, a total of 130 players, are taking part in the tournament.
Sports Board secretary Upender Reddy, addressing the players, informed that the best chess players in groups and individuals category would represent the MG university at Inter-university Chess Tournament.
He further informed that SLN Degree College of Bhongir emerged as winners and NSR Physical Education College of Suryapet stood as runner up in the Inter-college Handball Tournament conducted by the MG university on Monday and Tuesday.v
