Nalgonda: Telangana Ram Reddy passes away
Former MLC G Ram Reddy, who is popularly known as Telangana Ram Reddy, passed away in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Nalgonda: Former MLC G Ram Reddy, who is popularly known as Telangana Ram Reddy, passed away in Hyderabad on Wednesday. He celebrated his centenary a few months ago. Recently, Ram Reddy was admitted to Yashoda Hospital after he developed serious illness. He breathed his last on Wednesday due to cardiac arrest.
Telangana Ram Reddy, who belongs to first generation of separate Telangana struggle, left his lucrative job in commercial department and took part in Telangana Armed Struggle. He was native of Mattampally mandal of Huzurnagar constituency of present Suryapet district and settled in Hyderabad.
He is survived by two sons and two daughters. Congress leaders Komatireddy brothers, State Principals Association former president MV Gona Reddy, participants of 1969 Telangana Armed Struggle from Huzurnagar area expressed their deep condolences to the bereaved family members.
