Newly-elected ZP members call on KT Rama Rao in Mahbubnagar

Newly-elected ZPTCs from Mahbubnagar, Narayanpet and Nagarkurnool districts with TRS working president KT Rama Rao in Hyderabad on Monday
Mahbubnagar: The newly-elected ZPTC members of Mahbubnagar, Narayanpet and Nagarkurnool districts including Zilla Parishad Chairmen, Vice-Chairmen and Co-option members met Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president KT Rama Rao in Hyderabad on Monday.
Accompanied by Excise Minister Srinivas Goud, the newly-elected ZP Chairman of Nagarkurnool, P Padmavathi, thanked KTR for elevating her to the post. Earlier, Padmavathi had to face a tough competition with the rival TRS group led by Bharath Kumar, son of TRS MP P Ramulu, during the ZP Chairman elections in Nagarkurnool. However, with the intervention of higherups in the TRS party, Padmavathi won the ZP Chairman's post.
Similarly, Swarna Sudhakar (Swarnalatha), Zilla Parishad Chairman of Mahbubnagar along with Vanaja, ZP Chairman of Narayanpet along with Yadaiah and Surekha Vice-Chairmen of Mahbubnagar and Narayanpet respectively met KTR and thanked him.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR congratulated the newly-elected members and said that they should work for the development of their respective districts by working in coordination with the other elected members and Ministers of the respective districts.
