Kapra: Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC), a unit of Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India has taken up Swacchata Abhiyaan at Sri Ramalingeswhwara Devasthanam in Keesaragutta on Sunday as part of Swacchata Pakhwada during February 16 to 29.

About 42 officers, supervisors and workmen from Fuel Group, NFC under the leadership of D Pramanik, Deputy Chief Executive (Fuels) had participated in the Swacchata activity at the temple premises and cleaned up the surroundings where large number of devotees visited for Darshan during Maha Sivaratri on Friday. Dr Dinesh Srivastava, Chief Executive, NFC visited the venue and motivated the employees to take up more such activities and adopt a village for improvement of the surroundings. Huge waste of plastic material and food discards were collected from the premises by the NFC team and was handed over to municipal authorities for disposal. NFC Management thanked the Ramalingeswhwara Devasthanam authorities for permitting NFC team for carrying out Swacchata at their Temple Premises.
