NGO lodges complaint against Cyberabad CP

A city-based NGO chief lodged a complaint on Monday against the Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar and other officials in Uppal police station, alleging killing of Disha accused in an exchange of fire at Chatanpally was a fake encounter by the police.
Hyderabad: A city-based NGO chief lodged a complaint on Monday against the Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar and other officials in Uppal police station, alleging killing of Disha accused in an exchange of fire at Chatanpally was a fake encounter by the police.
According to police, 'Nenu Saitham' President D Praveen Kumar in his complaint alleged that Cyberabad CP and other officials formed into group and killed the four suspects in Disha's gang-rape and murder case.
The complainant demanded registration of FIR against the police officials and to conduct a thorough investigation into it. However, by making a GD entry, the Uppal police are seeking the legal opinion to act on the complaint.
