Nirmal: Adopt friendly policing, Additional SP S Srinivas Rao urges cops
Additional SP S Srinivas Rao received grievances from the petitioners from different parts of the district on Grievance Cell programme at Additional SP office in Nirmal on Monday. He listened to their problems.

later speaking with the officials, the Additional SP said that drinking water facility has been provided in every police station. Water should be offered to the petitioners, who come to the police station with various problems and deal with affection.
He told them that police should be answerable to the people and to maintain friendly relations with the people and adopt proactive policing. The Additional SP told them to identity criminal activities and police should mingle with the public to get information about the criminals.
He asked the people to inform to the police if they found anything fishy, unidentified persons, anti-social elements in their respective areas. He assured that the informers' details will not be disclosed. He told the police to conduct regular vehicle inspections.
