The birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and India’s second Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shashtri were celebrated on a grand note at the Collector Conference Hall in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district on Wednesday.

District Collector Rajeev Gandhi Hanumanthu, District Joint Collector P Rambabu, trainee Collector Hemanth and Superintendent of Police Malla Reddy paid rich floral tributes to the great leaders Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shashtri.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector remembered Mahatma Gandhi stating that the great leader fought for the country with truth and non-violence. Today the whole country is celebrating Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary.
