Everything is ready for the distribution of Bathukamma sarees from September 23 in Nizamabad district, informed Joint Collector M Venkateshwar.
Nizamabad: Everything is ready for the distribution of Bathukamma sarees from September 23 in Nizamabad district, informed Joint Collector M Venkateshwar. He inspected the sarees stored in farm warehouses at Mallaram village on Thursday.
The Joint Collector said the State government is distributing sarees to all women belonging to poor families on Bathukamma festival, as the government wants poor women also to celebrate the festival happily like others. Sarees were manufactured in six different designs and 5,39,824 women will get them. He said all arrangements have been made for the distribution of sarees from MLS Point to the ration shop dealer. The respective legislators will formally distribute sarees at constituency level.
District Rural Development Officer Rathod Ramesh and others were accompanied the Joint Collector.
