Nizamabad: Telangana Students JAC leaders demanded the public representatives to resign for their posts in support of the RTC employees' strike.

District Student JAC activists attacked the camp office of Nizamabad Urban MLA Bigala Ganesh Gupta here on Thursday, demanding his support to the RTC workers. Later, they staged a protest in front of the gate.

JAC leader Gollapalli Raja Goud demanded the legitimate demands of the RTC workers should be addressed. Alleging that the government is trying to provoke the employees, he said the TRS rulers are torturing all those, who fought for separate State of Telangana. They further criticised that the TRS government is acting ruthlessly without mercy towards the RTC employees, who has been striking for the past 13 days with legitimate demands.

Raja Goud criticised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao that he is playing with the lives of students by extending holidays to all educational institutions. All the people of Telangana are supporting the RTC employees, he added.

It is a shame that the public representatives, who had won with the votes of public, including that of RTC employees, haven't spoken even a single word about the strike.

He demanded that the public representatives should pressurise the Chief Minister to take steps to restart the educational institutions. If the government continues to act in this stubborn manner, the Student JAC will forbid the public representatives from going anywhere, he warned.

Student JAC leaders Palle Srikanth, Marri Kiran, Pratap, Vasu Nayak, Mahesh, Suman, Naresh, Parameshwar, Vinay, Ramu and others participated in the event.
