Notices soon to villages not maintaining nurseries under Haritha Haram in Khammam
District Collector RV Karnan on Monday held a video conference with all the Mandal Parishad Development Officers, Tahsildars and mandal special officers, flying squad teams and directed them to complete all works listed under 30-day action plan.

Addressing the officials, the Collector said the land for establishing dumping yards and burial grounds must be identified as early as possible and necessary proposals must be made for their establishment. He warned to serve notices to Assistant Project Officers and Field Assistants for not maintaining nurseries under Haritha Haram programme.
Stating that most of the works under the action plan were completed, the Collector informed the flying squads visiting the villages to submit daily progress of works to the authorities concerned.
Assistant Collector and District Panchayat Officer Hanumanth Kodimba, District Forest Officer Praveen, District Rural Development Project Officer B Indumathi, District Planning Officer K Sriram, Additional Project Director Vidhyachandana and other officials attended the video conference.
