NTR remembered on death anniversary
Former Chief Minister of the then United Andhra Pradesh and famous Tollywood actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao's 26th death anniversary was observed under the auspices of Telugu Desam Party at Shadnagar Chowrasta on Tuesday.

TDP leaders and activists under the leadership of TDP senior leader and EX MPP Challa Venkateshwara Reddy distributed fruits to the patients in the government hospital. Speaking on the occasion, Challa Venkateshwara Reddy said NTR will forever remain in the hearts of the fans as an incomparable hero in the history of Telugu cinema. He also NTR was credited with introducing several welfare schemes for the development of the weaker sections.
He recalled that NTR proved that a common man can reach great heights and achieve success. NTR came to power within 9 months of founding the party and has shown the power was not for enjoyment but to serve the people, he added. Kanduri Anjaiah, Appannagari Bhaskar Reddy, Yadaiah Goud, Chilakamarri Balaiah, Kammadanam Kumar, Ananthaiah, Venkateswarachari and others were present.
