Official killed in road mishap

An official Devadas who was ably organising the government ‘s 30-day village development programme and won laurels of all, was killed in a road accident on Friday evening.
Patancheru: An official Devadas who was ably organising the government 's 30-day village development programme and won laurels of all, was killed in a road accident on Friday evening.
The mishap occurred as he was crossing the road after getting off a bus at Biyyampet and a vehicle hit him. He died at Maxcure Hospital while undergoing treatment. Government employees and people were shaken by the demise.
MPDO Anant Reddy, mandal parishad staff, village secretaries, sarpanches and public representatives visited the hospital. His body was kept in the mandal parishad office after the post-mortem in Gandhi Hospital. Later the body was shifted to his native place Papannapet.
