Students of Osmania University staged a protest at actor Akkineni Nagarjuna's residence at Jubilee Hills demanding to ban Bigg Boss Telugu season 3. The students raised slogans against the actor who will be hosting the show this time.
The protest was staged on behalf of the varsity JAC leader Kandula Madhu. However, the police reached the spot and took the students into custody. As many as eight students were arrested and sent to Jubilee Hills police station.
The show has garnered much attention after anchors Shwetha Reddy and Gayatri Gupta filed a complaint against the show organisers for demanding sexual favours in exchange to their Bigg Boss entry.
