Khammam: On the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Railway Protection Force conducted an awareness programme and special rides in disabled coaches of trains at Khammam railway station on Tuesday.
According to RPF inspector K Madhusudhan, five persons were arrested who were travelling in disable coaches illegally.
As part of the programme, the railway staff created awareness among the passengers and advised them not to travel in the disabled coaches of trains. The staff also distributed pamphlets to the passengers during the programme.
