People should have awareness on small issues like wearing helmet, seat belts, no drink and drive, not using mobile while driving, following signals while crossing the roads, etc., which would result in decreasing accidents to a larger extent, said the Minister.

The Transport Minister said that the government has taken few decisions in the Road Safety Council meeting to avoid accidents.

"If something happens to a person in an accident, entire family has to suffer. All and particularly, the youth should control their driving on the national highways and follow the directions on the roads.

Families have many hopes on the youth but by losing their self control and making few mistakes and making the entire family to suffer," said Prashanth Reddy.
