Prepare water maps for Nizamabad, Karimnagar: KTR
Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao on Monday asked officials to prepare water maps for Nizamabad and Karimnagar Corporations and take up water and energy audit within 15 days
Hyderabad: Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao on Monday asked officials to prepare water maps for Nizamabad and Karimnagar Corporations and take up water and energy audit within 15 days. The Minister reviewed these Corporations with the concerned ministers and officials here on Monday. The minister asked the officials to focus on mainly fulfilling basic needs of the people in corporation. Give priority to sanitation, road repairs, take up development at parks, crematoriums, said KTR.
The minister further asked the officials to take up construction of rain water harvesting pits in wake of the coming rainy season. The officials were asked to ensure there is a rain water harvesting pit in every open area, parks, government offices and places wherever there is feasibility. He also asked the officials to review the solid waste management and adopt best practises from other municipalities. The minister complimented the municipal and district administration officials for controlling the coronavirus in the districts.
