Prisoner escapes from jail on Hyderabad outskirts

An undertrial prisoner who was arrested in a theft case had escaped from jail at Shankarpally of Rangareddy district on Thursday.
Nagaraju was arrested on July 9 after being caught in a theft case. However, he escaped from the jail which was unnoticed by the police. The Shankarpally police who learned about it has formed into teams to nab him.
In a similar case, two prisoners escaped from the Warangal Central Prison in November 2016. The prisoners managed to break out of three-layered security of the prison guarded by armed personnel from four towers on the outer wall of the prison.
