Raids conducted on fertiliser shops

Tandur/Vikarabad: Town police conducted inspections at fertilizer shops here on Friday. Though they did not find any spurious seeds and fertilisers. They warned of stringent action against any malpractices. CI Ravikumar said cases would be booked if anyone is found selling spurious goods to farmers. Police also raided fertiliser shops in Vikarabad on Friday and checked expiry dates, names of companies, brand names, shop licences etc. They instructed the shop owners not to sell spurious seeds to the farmers. They warned them that PD act will be instigated against the violators. Inspector Rangareddy along with staff participated in these raids.
