As a mark of protest against the passage of CAB Bill in Parliament, members of Ramachandrapuram Welfare Society on Friday took out a rally and conducted the afternoon ‘Namaz.’
Patancheru: As a mark of protest against the passage of CAB Bill in Parliament, members of Ramachandrapuram Welfare Society on Friday took out a rally and conducted the afternoon 'Namaz.'
They took out a rally to the national highway and staged a dharna raising slogans against the Central government. In Ramachandrapuram too, members of the society under leadership of Abdul Ghani took out a massive rally.
Youth and religious heads participated. Addressing them, Ghani pointed out that during the country's freedom struggle over four lakh Muslims had lost their lives.
He alleged that the BJP-led NDA government had tabled the Bill with the motive of depriving Muslims of their rights. He said another major agitation would be unavoidable if the government persisted with such policies.
