Ramagundam: 219 detained under Operation Chabutra

The police officials conducted ‘Operation Chabutra’ on intervening night of Thursday and Friday at Ramagundam in Peddapalli district at main centres and streets and on footpaths and detained 219 members, who are roaming on the roads, drinking alcohol on footpaths, driving the bikes rashly and teasing the passers-by.

They warned the youth not to spoil their future by roaming on the roads during nights and not to indulge in anti-social activities. The police officials said that the special drive will be conducted every day from night 12 pm onwards and will register the cases against those who are found on the roads without any valid reason.
