Revanth Reddy arrested for mayhem at KTR’s programme
The MP and several Congress leaders held for entering into arguments with ruling party leaders
Ranga Reddy: Mild tension prevailed at LB Nagar where Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao inaugurated twin reservoirs in Vasavi Nagar, after Congress party leaders raised slogans against the government alleging that protocol was not being followed at the programme. The police arrested MP Revanth Reddy and shifted him to Pahadi Shareef police station.
Led by Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy, the Congress party leaders entered into arguments with Minister Mallareddy and MLA Devireddy Sudheer Reddy alleging that the programme had commenced before the scheduled time which was fixed by the officials and also protocol was not followed.
Later, they also tore the TRS banners put up at the venue and staged a protest on the Kothapet-Nagole road resulting in a traffic congestion on the route.
