Ready for talks: TSRTC JAC
The TSRTC JAC leaders on Friday said that they would go for talks if the government calls them and also take up statewide bandh.
Hyderabad: The TSRTC JAC leaders on Friday said that they would go for talks if the government calls them and also take up statewide bandh.
When the reporters asked about the court's order to the government to take up talks with the workers, TSRTC JAC convenor Ashwathama Reddy said that they would continue the strike and if the authorities call for talks then they would attend.
The JAC leaders have not disclosed their plan of action on Saturday and said that it would depend on how government responds. Ashwathama Reddy lashed out against Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao once again.
"The chief minister says privatisation is not thinkable but is giving away 20 per cent routes to private operators," said the JAC convenor.
He stated that the chief minister was arrested only once during the Telangana agitation in Khammam, but he was arrested every day. "During the Telangana agitation, KCR asked us to join strike.
When we informed him that we have not given strike notice, KCR said 'a dog will chase you till you fear, and it will stand when you take a stone'. Join the strike nothing will happen," said Ashwathama Reddy.
The chief minister is looking at the assets of the Corporation which are worth Rs 60,000 crore. "We are not taking up strike for salaries alone.
We want government to take up recruitment, operate buses to villages and provide job security. We are getting salaries on seventh of every month because of this great man," Reddy flayed KCR.
