Red alert for Nizamabad, Adilabad districts

Nizamabad: Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) had issued 'Red Alert' for several parts of north Telangana including Nizamabad and Adilabad districts.

The TSDPS has also issued an orange warning for heatwave for east Asifabad and rest of the districts, said Venu Madhav, Assistant Executive Officer at TSDPS. Venu Madhav cautioned that temperatures could soar up to 47 degrees Celsius in some parts over the next two to three days. This is also for the first time this summer season that a red warning has been issued for heatwave, Venu Madhav said.
