Samala Buchi Reddy sworn in as Mayor in Boduppal
As many as 28 members were sworn in for the division municipal corporation. Election returning officer participated and finished the formalities.
Boduppal: As many as 28 members were sworn in for the division municipal corporation. Election returning officer participated and finished the formalities. TRS party leader Samala Buchi Reddy and Congress party leader Pogula Narsimha Reddy tried for the Mayor position. 19 members supported Samala where as seven members supported Pogula. Kotha lakshmi Rao Goud was elected unanimously as deputy mayor. Minister Mallareddy participated in the programme.
Speaking on the occassion, Mayor Samala said, "I will do anything to develop the division. There are drinking water, road and drainage problems in the division. They will be solved As soon as possible." Mallareddy said, "Any support for the development of the division will be done without any hesitation."
Former ZPTC member Mandha Sanjeeva Reddy, Charla Anjaneyulu Yadav, Jadiga Ramesh, Katepally Rama Chandra Reddy, Thotakura Srisailam Yadav, Kotha Ravi Goud, Gurrala Venkatesh Yadav and others were present.
