Hyderabad: Samples of nine suspected cases that were taken on Saturday have come out negative to the dreaded coronavirus.

Overall, Telangana health authorities have collected samples from 70 people with travel history to China, and much to the relief of the government none of them tested positive.

Despite test results coming out negative, doctors are instructing people, who gave samples, to stay indoors for three to four weeks from the date of their return from China.

And, any symptoms of illness including fever, cold, cough, throat pain and breathing problems they are told to contact authorities immediately so that remedial steps can be taken.

The incubation period for coronavirus is considered to be 28 days. Meanwhile, Gandhi Hospital has got two suspected cases on Sunday and samples were taken for testing.
