SCCL Director inspects works at Kothagudem opencast mine
Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Director S Chandra Sekhar Rao visited the Kothagudem area opencast mine on Wednesday and inspected the coal loading works besides the coal production. He also interacted with the workers and sought to know their issues.

Later, he discussed the ongoing works at the site with Area General Manager CH Narasimha Rao. Speaking on the occasion, he appealed to the workers to work hard for the development of the company. CH Narasimha Rao informed that the area made a record production and transportation of coal on Tuesday, where they produced 47,265 tonnes of coal and transported 46,355 tonnes.
He said, it was a record in in the history of the SCCL in the area. The Director and the General Manager congratulated the workers for making the record. Later, the officials participated in a mass feeding programme along with the workers.
