Scrutiny of nominations for 2nd phase begins
The process of scrutiny has started as the second phase of the nominations for the ZPTC, and MPTC was ended. One of each ZPTC and MPTC nominations were rejected on some reasons.

In the second phase, as many as 74 nominations were accepted for the nine ZPTC seats in the Narayankhed division. As many as 559 nominations were filed for 100 MPTCs but, while considering a nomination for each candidate after rejection, 459 nominations were finalised.
As the nomination process for the elections in Sangareddy division was ended, the Parishad elections will begin in Zahirabad Revenue Division. The division consists of Zaheerabad, Mogudampalli, Nalkal, Jharsangham, Kohir, Raiikode and Munipally mandals. Elections for Seven ZPTC and 92 MPTC seats will be held in this phase.
Nominations will be received till May 2 between 10:30 am to 5 pm at MPDO offices in the respective manadals. Withdrawing of nominations is on May 3, the appeal on May 4, the redress is of the 5, the elections is on 14 and the counting of votes is on 27.
