South-west monsoon to reach Telangana on June 13

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted that the south-west monsoon will touch Telangana on June 13 due to the delay in its landing.
The monsoon which is supposed to touch Kerala on June 6 is delayed till June 8. While it will reach Andhra Pradesh on June 11.
On the other hand, Telangana to witness heat wave conditions till June 9. A heat wave warning is also issued to people in Northern Telangana region and are advised not to expose directly to sunlight.
According to IMD, the state recorded a maximum of 44.8 degrees in Adilabad district while the temperature in Hyderabad remained at 40.5 degrees.
