SP flags off 2K Run in Nirmal
Superintendent of Police C Shashidhar Raju flagged off 2K Run at Mancherial chowrastha in Nirmal town on Thursday, organised by Chanakya High School on National Sports Day.

Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that every year National Sports Day will be celebrated on August 29, the birth anniversary of Dhyan Chand, one of the greatest hockey players in the history of the sport. Indian hockey player Major Dhyan Chand had won many awards for the country.
Every student should know about the victories of Dhyan Chand and everyone should encourage sports because it gives physical and mental strength to children.
Later, the SP had distributed gifts to students.School Director Venkat Reddy, Principal Harshavardhani, town CI John Diwakar, traffic SI Santosh Singh, school staff and students were present.
