Hans News Service Tirumalagiri (Suryapet): Thungathurthi MLA Gadari Kishore stated that the State government flagship programme Kalyana Lakshmi is a great relief to poor. On Sunday, he distributed the scheme cheques to 41 beneficiaries at a programme held at Mandal Parishad Office in Tirumalagiri in the district. Speaking on the occasion, he said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was striving for the progress of the State and also taking care of all sections of people of the society through welfare schemes. He thanked the people for blessing the Telangana Rashtra Samithi in the elections to Urban Local Bodies and added that same results were going to be witnessed in PACS elections. In this programme, MPP Sneha Latha, ZPTC D Anjali, local municipal chairman Potharaju Rajani, vice-chairman Sankenepally Raghunandan Reddy, MPDO Umesh Chary, Tahsildar Harishchandra Prasad and others participated. Meanwhile, the MLA took part in several development activities in Thungathurthi mandal and laid foundation for a science lab in the government school.
