A woman hailing from West Bengal was found dead in a lodge here at Vanasthalipuram on Wednesday.
It is learned that Sangeetha (48), a software engineer in West Bengal has arrived Hyderabad to meet her Facebook friend Lokesh (28). The duo is said to have gone to the Oyo lodge in Abhyudayanagar.
According to the police, Sangeetha befriended Lokesh on Facebook three years ago. On Tuesday night, Sangeetha and Lokesh quarrelled with each other said the lodge staff.
The police registered a case and took Lokesh into custody.
