Twelve RTC employees joined duties by Sunday night after the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao set a deadline on Saturday till November 5. However, the RTC JAC urged employees not to join the duties and continue the strike.

Around four employees joined duties in Warangal highest among all the districts. All those are working in the Human Resources department, said a higher official.

Keshava Krishna, assistant manager of Uppal depot in Hyderabad joined the duty on Sunday. One driver each in Kamareddy and Sattupalli, one conductor each in Miryalguda and Siddipet and Bandlaguda joined duties.

Driver Syed Ahmed working under GHMC limits also joined on Sunday. Bala Vishweshwari, a conductor at Siddipet said that she is joining the duty due to financial constraints.

However, the RTC unions said that those who are getting retired are joining the duties.
