Around 3,878 posts are said to be vacant in the department of Municipal Administration and Urban Development which include 122 in Directorate of Municipal Administration
Around 3,878 posts are said to be vacant in the department of Municipal Administration and Urban Development which include 122 in Directorate of Municipal Administration (DMA), 191 in Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), 432 under Public Health, engineering wing, 233 in the directorate of town and country planning (DTCP), 70 in Kakatiya urban development authority (KUDA), 879 in GHMC and 1,951 in HMWSSB.
The government will soon decide on the recruitment for the vacant posts. Vacancies in DMA, DTCP, public health will be announced through TSPSC, while, departmental wise vacancies will be announced for GHMC, HMWSSB, HMDA and KUDA.
In endowments department, 128 posts are vacant that include deputy commissioner (2), assistant commissioners (12), assistant engineers (3), executive officers grade-1 (4), executive officers grade-3 (81), junior assistants (16), LDC (1) and typist cum steno (9).
In agriculture department, as many as 761 posts were vacant out of which 312 from warehousing, 89 in seed development corporation, 59 in seed and organic certification agency, 51 in state cooperative marketing federation, 74 in Agro Industries Development and 25 in Hyderabad Agricultural Co-operative Association (HACA).
