He alleged that the negligence of the State government and the mistakes of KTR's benami company have forced nearly 27 intermediate students to commit suicide.
Addressing a gathering at Illantakunta in the district on Monday as part of his Praja Sangrama Yatra, Bandi Sanjay said there was serious outrage among the people against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
The Centre has been purchasing paddy from the farmers and KCR was playing the role of a mere broker in this regard, the BJP leader criticized and said he would take the responsibility of buying the entire paddy grown by the farmers in the State through the Centre. He demanded a public apology from KCR for misleading people in paddy purchase issue.
Sanjay said 'Dalit Bandhu' scheme introduced by the TRS government was not a new one. Under the Modi government's 'Standup India', to make Dalits as industrialists, Rs 1 crore to Rs 5 crore was being given to them without interest and without surety, he informed. Sanjay noted that there are around 2,000 wine shops and over one lakh belt shops in Telangana.
The government was not responding to the request for establishing a degree college but will immediately sanction wine shop, he ridiculed.
"The promises given by KCR to Dalits are never implemented. KCR failed to make a Dalit as the first CM of Telangana and sacked T Rajaiah from the post of Deputy CM. BJP is the only party that respects Dalits and it's the only party that made the Dalit president," he said.
