According to official sources, wherever a person takes the first dose of vaccine, he will have to take the second dose also at the same place.

Health Ministry sources stated that they have not decided the date yet for inoculation. They did not get any directions from the Centre in this regard till Tuesday. In all probability, they could be administered for four days in a week.

It may be mentioned here that the government administers vaccination on two days a week. Director of Health G Srinivas Rao said that they might have to depend on the latest electoral rolls on the self-registration enrolment data to prepare the elders' list to vaccinate.

He said that to assess preparations a two-day dry run is being carried out on January 7 and 8 in all districts. Nearly 1,200 PHCs, teaching, area and district hospitals and private hospitals are being involved in this process. At every centre, 25 vaccine recipients and the vaccinators will be involved to get a first-hand feel of the Covid vaccine drive.
